Hi All,
It’s been a few years and I haven’t updated this much. I’ve done a lot of deals over the last two years that sent me on a very different path than I thought I would go.
In 2018, I purchased my first four plex; without seeing it in person until after inspection. Because of that, and a few other investments, that’s one reason I was able to buy a Tesla. In 2019, I had to fire my four plex manager and hire a new property manager remotely. And last year, in 2020, I purchased four duplexes without ever seeing them in person.
I’ll go over each of those in detail in the coming weeks, but I think I’ve reach a point I want to share what successes and failures I’ve had in my real estate purchases. I haven’t shared deals or done tons of flips to get money to buy places. I’ve simply tried to save up, do the math a hundred times, and relentlessly pursue a property once I know it’s good. I’ve had maintenance issues and I won’t deny some months I did not make a profit.
I read a lot about the stock market over the last few years as well. Because of that, I started my IRA. I thought for years that I could only do a TSP and wrongly believed that the TSP wasn’t great compared to other accounts.
I learned from those mistakes and want you to be able to take that knowledge and achieve your financial goals.
